Learning Experience

Volunteering has taught me quite a bit. It is actually what keeps me going and focused. When I volunteer, I am centering on others and their needs. It keeps me grounded and out of "worry mode." While serving, I am not concerned about myself or my situations, but I am sowing seeds of life into someone else. Even though I am in pain every day, the children or whomever I am serving act almost like my "medicine." They are more powerful than any aspirin or Advil! Despite the chaotic world surrounding me; I will continue to give without ceasing. It's just in my spirit.
